What is SecureLC?	SecureLC provides a way for Importers to safely protect their overseas purchasing by negotiating a invoice online through SecureLC and then using the SecureLC escrow account to hold the invoice balance while the goods are made and shipped to the importer. The Seller is issued a SecureLC on behalf of the buyer which is paid once the goods have cleared customs and been shipped.

Why should I use SecureLC?	SecureLC provides a way for Buyers and Sellers to minimize their risk by using an independent third party who has international reach and dedicated experienced professionals who can access global trade databases and reduce the risk of international import/export fraud. SecureLC in combination with ExportID and other well know international trade associations such as ExportBureau.com can enforce any penalties on international companies engaged in fraudulent or misleading sales.

What are our rates?	SecureLC charges only 0.5% of the balance of the commercial invoice negotiated online through our system. (minimum US$50) ie US$10000 balance the charge would be US$50 and on US$50000 balance the charge would be US$250
	*The charge is added to the invoice total and typically paid by the buyer for their peace of mind.

Are there any other fees or charges?	No, the only charge for the service is the 0.5% charge on the invoice total. There are no service or account keeping fees and the 0.5% charge is included into the invoice total and paid by the buyer.

What can I buy or sell using SecureLC?	You can use SecureLC's service for personal property (i.e., tangible, physical, hard goods). You cannot use SecureLC's service for: real estate (including timeshares); goods classified as illegal in the recipient country; tickets or other time-sensitive documents; memberships; online gaming accounts; services or intangible items for which delivery cannot be independently verified by SecureLC.

How do I find out the status of my transaction?	During the process you will be sent all the nessasary links in emails which will be sent to your email box. The links will allow you access to the online invoice specifically regarding your transaction and any changes made to that invoice you will be sent an email notifying you of the changes which have been made to the online document, in this way the sale negotiation process is carried out entirely online transparently between both the buyer and seller. Any time you wish to inspect the progress of your negotiation you only have to click the secure links that have been previously sent to you.

Are terms allowed to be negotiated in currencys other than $US dollars?	No, the United States currency has become the global standard for negotiation international sales and all currency amounts will be negotiated in US dollars.

Do I need to download any software or purchase a program before I can participate?	No, all you need is an email account and an internet connection.

How safe is SecureLC service?	The entire transaction is held in a secure environment, with SSL encryption. Users' information are kept confidential and used for transaction purposes only.

What if the Seller doesn't ship the merchandise?	Your payment will not be released to the Seller until the goods have cleared that countries customs and shipping procedures. This eliminates the concern for non-shipment of goods. SecureLC will ensure that the consignment is routed to the correct destination address and keep both the buyer and seller aware of the details at every step of the transaction.

What if the Buyer doesn't pay?	The Buyer's payment is secured in a SecureLC trust account before the Seller delivers the goods through customs and shipping, eliminating the concern for non-payment.

Can the Buyer reject the goods?	Inspection is currently outside the scope of SecureLC's service. If the Buyer is not satisfied with the goods, the Buyer will need to liase with the Seller regarding any resolution. However, SecureLC does ensure that the delivery is made through an independent logistics service provider and will confirm consignment status up to the delivery point. SecureLC has unique advantages in being able to access historical trade information on seller companies and provide comprehesive risk analysis. SecureLC also ensures that any evidence of fraud will be harshly dealt with on an international level through our parent company ExportID.

Is my money safe with SecureLC ?	SecureLC is working in partnership with most of the internets top online international trade companies and is a service offered by ExportID the worlds most recognised online manufacturing/export international company identification system.
